Just look at Nazi Germany that's what happened when a whole nation followed the dreams of a madman as for if everybody followed their dreams and accomplished them it would be a huge mess because we would have hundreds of movie stars and singers and no one to distribute food, do construction, be a paramedic, or just about any other job so you can see why we can't all achieve our dreams if we did society would collapse

But this is what has always been happening on this planet. Everyone followed what others said, but those "others" said different things, so some people followed some and other people followed the others... Everyone is following someone, even if they don;t know it. Actually, most of the times they don't know it.

Have you looked at the world today...this is what happens when everyone follows a leader like the one we have today.
Everyone jumped out of the fire into the frying pan...so we all got burned.

That's precisely the problem with the world - every one is following either their *own personal desires,* or *going along with the herd|*

But there is a *third* way that has been forgotten today|

That is forgetting yourself and being dedicated to what is *good in itself* and what is *true in itself|*

That is the *only* way to happiness|

if that had happened, there would be no creativity, people would not be thinking and acting for themselves. they'll be just doing and saying things for the sake of everyone else, as opposed to doing and saying things for him/her. we'd be functioning like mere robots. therefore, one of the great things about being a human being on this planet is that we are all individual, different. we have different expectations and goals in life to achieve and strive towards. we have different views on various issues and think and act and go about our lives, in our own individual way

Nobody would be thinking for themselves and we would have no great minds such as Albert Einstein or Dr. Phil.
