Yes, as long as your baby has no negative reaction to it. My baby got a tummy ache if I used any artificial sweetener (but also does from broccoli or beans).
You CAN have caffeine while breastfeeding. Ask your doctor - it's fine. You don't want to go crazy, and I wouldn't drink a giant latte in the evening, but it's not a big deal.
Breast feeding is not the same as being pregnant. You don't need to follow the same dietary restrictions. You should be able to eat anything you want, unless you notice a reaction to certain foods in your infant.

Everything that a nursing mother eats or drinks, so does the baby. Diet cola has caffeine which isn't good for a newborn, and do you really want to give the baby artificial sweeteners? As someone else pointed out, there is milk and all kinds of juice.

When you breastfeed, you should eat and drink like you are still pregnant. Because once again like the placenta that gave your baby nutrients, your milk does the same thing. Everything you consume goes into your milk. You should limit alcohol and soda and DO NOT drink pop with caffeine in it!

When I was breastfeeding I drank a fizzy drink. I got some pain in my breasts, but it was not bad. I could have sworn that my little boy still got a sugar rush.

Everything that goes into your mouth goes out with breastmilk. If it's full of gas your baby may get bad wind, pains and cry alot. Be especially careful of any medication.

Better to not - the sugar in regular soda would be "better" than those deadly artificial sweeteners.

It's ok, but you should avoid caffeine, so no Diet Coke or anything like that (no Mountain Dew, either). Anything with caffeine acts as a diuretic (makes you pee), so you have to avoid it. Drink lots of water, but to make it more interesting, try Crystal Light or other uncaffeinated flavorings.
Congratulations on your baby!!!

Anything you take into your body will be passed through your breastmilk, including that chemical fake sugar. Buy diet soda made with Splenda.

Yes just take it easy. The caffine in the soda will keep your baby up and jittery.

If you want a healthy baby, you shouldn't it has caffeine. if you really wish a soda, you should have a decaf and one glass, that more that you have the more that your baby gets. I did have soda when I was 8 months, I couldn't hold it anymore and my doctor told me it was ok.
