All evidence, EVERY bit of it, points to one and ONLY one gunman: Lee Harvey Oswald
1. Oswald owned the rifle the recovered bullet was fired from
2. Oswald was seen leaving the building from which the shots were fired 90 seconds after the assassination
3. Oswald's prints were found on the rifle (and no one elses were)
4. Oswald was the ONLY employee to fail to return to return to work after the assassination
5. Oswald was witnessed a few minute prior to the assassination holding the rifle in his hands and looking out the window of the Texas School Book Depository
6. Oswald was stopped by Officer J.D. Tippit for routine questioining a hour after the assassination and Oswald shot Tippit dead on the spot.
7. After sneaking into a movie theater to hide from police, Oswald was apprehended at which time he attempted to shot a second police officer (but his gun misfired.)
8. Oswald was witnessed bringing an unidentified package into work that day which he "claimed" contained curtain rods. No curtain rods were ever recovered, however Oswald's rifle was.
9. Oswald acted alone. As of the moment of this writing there is not one scrap of hard evidence that ANYONE was behind the murder besides Oswald. No CIA, no Sam Giancana, no Fidel Castro, NO ONE. All these suspicisions of Oswald's backers are dreams with any proven connection. If someone claims Oswald ws backed by someone, pay close attention, they willl NOT provide a single scrap of evidence to support their bizarre theories. It was Oswald and ONLY Oswald.
The evidence against him is without serious debate. Those who adhere to ridiculous theories such as the CIA did it or the Cubans did it or the FBI or the Dallas Police Department or the Russians or the Mafia did it are either ignorant of the facts or simply unwilling to read much on the case to learn the truth.
This case is closed.

Lee Harvey Oswald (October 18, 1939 – November 24, 1963) was, according to four United States government investigations, responsible for the assassination of U.S. President John F. Kennedy, on November 22, 1963. That same day, Oswald was arrested and charged with the killing of the president and Dallas police officer J. D. Tippit. Oswald denied the charges, claiming he was a "patsy". Two days later, Oswald, while in police custody, was shot and killed by Jack Ruby on live television.
Public opinion is still divided regarding Oswald's culpability. Seven out of ten Americans, in a 2003 ABC News nationwide poll, believe the presidential assassination was the result of a plot and not the action of a single person.[1] Many believe he was part of a broader assassination conspiracy that has been subject to an official coverup.[2]

RE: JFK: Jimmy "the Weisel" Frattiano claimed that Giancana (the then Boss of Bosses out of Chicago) gave the go ahead for Marcello (of New Orleans) to carry out the assassination. It involved Castro (who had a grudge after finding out the CIA was behind the Bay of Pigs Invastion) so he got a patsy (Oswald) from the Russians to carry-out the deed. Marcello's beef was a result of RFK's investigations into organized crime. To cover the link to the Mafia, Marcello had Jack Ruby (a two bit night club owner in the Marcello organization) take out Oswald to seal his lips.
Giancana's beef with JFK was his impression that JFK renigged on promises to leave the Mafia alone since he felt he pulled strings in Chicago to get him elected.
Several weeks before the assassination, Oswald met with Cuban agents in Mexico. For inexplicable reasons, the FBI agents who were following up the Cuban connection as a part of the Warren Commission investigation, were recalled back by FBI Central office

Lee Harvey Oswald, who was hired by Sam Giancana, who felt betrayed by the Kennedys after he supported them in the 1960 election only to have them investigate him him after the election. Oswald might have been duped into thinking he was avenging attacks by the Kennedys on Fidel Castro. That's why Jack Ruby, a minor mafia character, killed Oswald before he could talk. Ruby probably thought that he would get a light sentence. In stead he died in prison afraid for his life.
