I don't think it is dangerous. He have been more restrained in the use of force than any other superpower in all of human history.

It really depends who is wielding this power, and whether or not you actually consider the USA's power to be unchecked. I personally don't think it is. The EU and China are both superpowers in their own right, and the US can't do anything that directly threatens either one.

As for the massive power of the USA being a bad thing-- I don't think that's really true either. The USA is generally a force for good in the world (with the unfortunate exception of the Iraqi debacle), especially when we have leaders that have an IQ greater than 80 (as in most presidents besides Bush Jr. and Reagan).

Same it has been since the end of WWI when we became a superpower. The consequences so far have been a "big brother" watching over the weaker of the nations. Maybe that is why the UN has always come to the USA for help. God bless the USA!

It is depending on whose hands the remote is in. In the case of George Bush it is very dangerous. I look for him to announce any day that we are going to attack Iran. This could and probably will be the beginning of W.W. l l l. Life on earth may never be the same after this evil man has been in office for 8 years.

In the hands of BushOilCo and their friends it is dangerous indeed. Just look at Iraq and Afghanistan, and listen to their threats to Iran. If they have their way, the entire Middle East will be at war with us, and the US Treasury will be irretrievably bankrupt. These men mean us harm.
