The Great Smokie Mountains! They are so beautiful year round. I love to sit and just look at the beauty of them. I love the way they appear to have smoke rising behind them. They are just too beautiful for this mortal to describe!

Mt. Rainier is my favorite mountain. While living in and around the Seattle area I could just look to the South and there it was. It is beautiful.

Mount Rushmore, South Dakota.
It's awe-inspiring and a fitting memorial to four great Presidents.
The logistics of carving out those faces is mind blowing.
For scenic beauty it is hard to by pass the Rockies, and since they stretch for over 3,000 miles you can see them in a lot of states.
