thats a hard one i love both Morrison and jimmy page although the stairway to heaven takes you to your little happy place you know with your past girl friend, or the times down at the rive,r or just sittin at home in front of the fire chillin, it makes me want to get out my Zeppelin albums, and play em all.lol

Stairway to Heaven because it changes moods throughout the song and gives the ears a little bit of "play". The End was a great song too...but kind of repetitive after a while.

Led Zeppelins 'Stairway to Heaven' stands as one of the most classic and popular and also well known songs and certainly one of the best songs created in the rock era ,ask many guitarists what song they first learnt to play and many will say the begining chords of this song.

No competition. 'Stairway to Heaven' is miles better than 'The End'. 'The End' just doesn't do anything for me but 'Stairway' is an experience.

i think stairway to heaven is better because:
1. jimmy page rocks
2. it has awesome guitar riffs
3. it is a classic
4. i've never even heard 'the end'
