Because you use muscles strenuously when you vomit, you might have pulled a muscle or overused it a lot. If it doesn't go away, see your doctor. Also, keep a little diary about when you get them...like what were you doing when they occur and what did you just finish eating. What makes the apin better, or what makes it worse? What else do you feel when you are having this pain...how long does it last. But from all you have siad here, I'm betting it's an overused muscle.

more likely the pain is starting in the back and going to the front. because of your illness and stress caused by it. there will be a trigger point at the back radiating to the front. do a gentle massage, or get someone to do it for you on the tender point.

this could be severe please get it checked out or go to the ER.

I do - diarrhea got you dehydrated that can cause all kinds of other trouble.

if you are vomitting and can't hold down water (try water first) before trying food) - then you HAVE to go to the ER
