recorder or answering machine? Is that the machine or because your not used to hearing your voice?

When I hear my voice on an answering machine I sound weird. I guess it's because when I talk I don't ever notice how thick my accent is until I hear it on tape.
And,I hate it because I sound like a little kid. If I answer the phone when salesmen call, they always ask if they can speak to my parents or if there is a grown up around.

my voice sounds funny pretty much on any recording and answering machine. i sound like a little girl , i blame the machine.

kinda funny because my voice sounds like I am a teenager lol
It's not cause of the machine it's only because I'm not used to hearing my voice..

Yes! I sound so stupid! I think I sound like I have a nasal problem, but my hubby says no that I don't he says it's because I am not used to hearing myself on the answering machine. I sound SO STUPID! I swear! LOL

Yah,it does sound funny.And I think it's because you aren't used to hearing your own voice.Because when you listen to other people talk on the machine they sound just like they do in real life.

Yea! When ever i am on the phone, my voice completely changes!
