Engines which come with turbo chargers are beefed up to handle the extra pressures created by the turbo chargers. They have heavier cranks, and heavier pistons plus larger intake and exhaust valves to handle the increased intake air being rammed into the cylinder, And higher chamber pressures created by combustion require larger exhaust valves.
Also turbo charged engines run leaner because of the air to gas ratio and some non turbo engine valves will not handle the leaner mixer without warping or burning.
