what legendary pokemon from jhoto (like sucuine and lugia)cud i get in fire red and which pokemon from hoenn?

im askin if i should buy crystal or fire red cuz i have sapphire and tryin to finish my pokedex

Sapphire will not link up with crystal so you have to get fire red

On fire red, you can catch all of the johto legendary pokémon other then Celebi after you get the national pokédex. You will get one of the legendary dog pokémon depending onn what you chose as your starter...

If you chose Bulbasaur, you'll be against Entei
If you chose Charmander, you'll be against Suicune
If you chose Squirtle, you'll be against Raikou.

Raikou and Entei both know roar, so trapping them is not advised. If they roar on you, you've lost your chance to catch them. Otherwise, it's exactly the same principle for catching Latias/Latios.

If you get an Aurora ticket (I think) you can get to navel rock. Here you can find a level 70 Lugia and a level 70 Ho-oh

With a mystic ticket (I think, It might be the other way aruound) you can reach birth island. Solve a small puzzle and you will get to fight a level 30 deoxys. Once you catch it, it will change into the attack form. Deoxys is the only ruby/sapphire legendary you can catch on fire red.

there is no main legendary basically you got the 3 birds Articuno Go to Seafoam Island with a Pokemon that knows Strength and Surf. Get through the maze to find Articuno. Zapdos Go to Route 9 and use Surf on the river. Follow it to the Abandoned Power Plant. Find your way through the maze. Zapdos is waiting for you at the end. Moltres Get the Tri pass from Bill after beating Blaine. Go to One Island (Knot Island). Take a Pokemon that knows Strength to Mt. Ember. Climb up to Moltres. and mewtwo later on in cerulean cave (after you beat the elite 4) 1. Defeat the Pokemon League 2. You have to have caught at lest 60 different kinds of Pokemon. 3. You have to have given Celio the Sapphire and Ruby (hes at the end of the maze) all the other legendaries in that game are by special events or past game.
