Actually I heard Micheal Jackson was one. That he gave up his soul to be transported into another being.
That is why he had problems with sexual relations with children. The being that took over his soul did not know any better.
I read it somewhere.

This is where the rest of the universe *dumps its rejects*. Really. You know how Jerry Springer works, right?
Ok then, if someone on another world is *that* messed up, they get sent here....it's considered an act of charity, an attempt to improve the gene pool *even though the aliens are mind-wiped and surgically modified enough to pass for one of us*.
See? They don't know they're not from around here....how could they know, everything's been tweaked just enough to pass for human, and their memories have been wiped clean...? All they know is that they're messed up, somehow different, and that they have the *locals* to play with....and if they suspect more than that, they get medicated, removed, etc.
Of course, the ones from *other dimensions* are harder to deal with than others, but hey...

I think they take on human form just so that they can study us for a while and then go back to their home planet with the information they have learned about us.But I don't think they live here permanently.

That would explain my third grade teacher. Nothing human would chose a career teaching third grade when their name was Mrs. Cooty. It was a year of third grade cootie jokes. Only an alien could have put up with that for forty years. Plus, she kinda looked like an alien.... small and bony, with skin like a soup chicken... it was freaky.
