All these people speaking their opinion like they have a scientific degree!

First off... Dogs mouths are NOT cleaner than humans and this is a FACT!

I think many people are confusing this for a study that was done a year ago in which they found that dog's salivate had 900 times the antibodies than does that of a human. This doesn't mean that their mouth is actually cleaner, just that they have a much stronger mechanism against foreign organic material. So what does this mean? If you get a cut, let your dog lick it. It will help speed the healing. But you will get sick if you make out with your dog!

We humans DO however practice better hygiene. Everything from not eating whatever we find, to not licking our genitals, to brushing with fluoride and flossing.

Humans generally have cleaner mouths than dogs. Period.

Dogs lick their own butts and I don't. How is their mouth cleaner than mine? It has not been scientifically proven that a dog's mouth is cleaner. Dogs do not get cavities and they do not get certain illnesses. That is what leads people to believe this. Not to mention that their wounds seem to heal faster when they lick them. That does not mean their mouths are scientifically cleaner than humans. Dogs DO get gum disease btw.

In a way yes, and in a way, no. Humans have bacteria on their tongue always for some reason (I forgot), and it's in large amounts. If you stick out your tongue and look at it, you see those circles all on it? That's bacteria! Dogs, on the other hand, don't have the bacteria. So yes, it is cleaner than ours because there tongue is covered by a layer of bacteria like ours is. BUT, our bacteria isn't harmful bacteria (obviously) and dogs eat gross things. Dogs eat trash, eat their poop, pick up nasty things off the street, etc. When they do that, because they don't have bacteria on their tongue to break it down, it stays there for awhile, making their mouth extremely dirty! So in a way it is cleaner, but with what they get themselves into, it most surely isn't!

Well, I think that I have a cleaner mouth than my dog but I still let her kiss me and it grosses everyone out.

Humans have the dirtiest mouths of all creatures on the planet. I was once told that a human bite was more dangerous than a cat or dog. I believe it.

The fact that dogs generally don't injest anything too bad for them, and that they have strong enzymes to break down simple, familiar particles, they have to the dog world's standards "sterile mouths." They don't smoke, chew on their pens, bite their nails, etc. The odd puppy will rummage through garbage, but for the most part, a dog's mouth will not make you sick.

They're cleaner because they don't say intolerant
and disrespectful thing like humans do.
It's like washing your mouth out if you say something bad.

I don't know about that. Dogs lick their own private parts and eat dirty things, I don't think humans put their mouths anywhere without thinking about it first. (Oh maybe some do lol).
