If you had a Roman army of 100,000, with typical troop variation at the peak of their might and under their best general...and also had the same for a Chinese army (Not past 476 A.D.) and they fought a war, in say....the middle east, which would win?

I will say Romans. The Chinese will have to travel way to far through land to reach the middle East. Plus the climates and food available is foreign to Chinese. Their supply line will be too distance and far to sustain the troops for long battles. The Chinese has no chance when the battle last long.
