people tell me to move? if you have a problem with me, why don't YOU move to get away from me?
criticizing america can bring a lot of good. people who protested vietnam were criticizing america.
how can you say people in this country are smart when we elected bush twice? just think about it. it's pretty simple. and that's just one example of our stupidity. it goes on and on and on.
oh well, whenever you make a comment about "stupid people," only stupid people get offended because they know you're talking about THEM. hahaha!! morons.

you're implying i don't appreciate freedom of speech? you make a lot of assumptions and are very insulting. you should look at your own attitude before you talk about other people's.

i totally agree with you. people in america have problems. they think that america is the best thing to ever happen. they completely close there eyes to all the crap that is really going on, i think america is a very brainwashed country. they pretend to give us all these rights yet everyday i see them being taken away.

as an American, we are offended when our country is criticized because often the person who is criticizing doesn't have a solution to the problem. Sure we have problems over here, but I cannot think of one other place that I'd rather live and I'm not sure you can either because I'd hope that you'd be smart enough to move there. It's easy for people to be offended when they feel so protective of something that is so dear to their heart. America is the only place I'd ever want to live and I thank God every day that I live here and have the right to free speech....!! Aren't you glad too????

Neither one of has to move. We have the freedom to choose and I choose to selectively disagree with you. Years ago, the phrase was "America, Love It Or Leave It" I believe that holds true today. You mentioned Viet Nam protests, many of us were offended and/or embarrassed by the Viet Nam war protesters, try serving your country only to be treated harshly when you returned home. What good came of those protests? Even though they were not criticizing America, just her policies. I didn't vote for Bush. And I still believe that was rigged in Florida. I also agree on one of your other points, the stupidity goes on and on.

And the people protesting were called Hippies. They were dirty, nasty creatures who only loved the "protest" lifestyle. Do you think they really cared about the soldiers over in Vietnam? No, and there is proof of their actions. Throwing dog sh*t on the soldiers who were coming home, spitting on them, calling them baby killers and you think they did a good job. Actresses like Jane Fonda who asked us to give blood to the north vietcong and had her photo taken in an anti-aircraft gun. Our stupidity is in making these hippie protesters seem like loving, caring people who only wanted to end the war. Did you notice that while it seems that this war is not very favorable, the only people who are out protesting are old hippies(look Jane went back to washington-how original)and college students who want to relive the 60's. Go choke on a peace symbol.

We don't tell you to move because we have a problem with you, we say move because you are obviously not happy living in a country that you criticize. No one is holding a gun to your head making you stay. Further more anytime you refer to America always know that the A in America is CAPITALIZED!!!!

There is a difference between flat out criticism ("America sucks!") and offering a divergent point of view ("American does not have to take this path!")
If we believe in Freedom of Speech, it protects the speech we like and the speech we DON'T like

So why did you take offense to all those people calling you stupid for saying those things. Oh my, I think you just set yourself a standard that proved your stupidity. Appreciate what you have in America, because it is a great country, even if you elected bush twice.

Unfortunately, the generalized statement you made now makes you one of them. Change the attitude, and allow everyone their right of freedom of speech ... then teach that.

I TOTALLY AGREE with nothing you said... Other than your right to have an opinion, I find nothing of substance in your rant.
As for me moving, good luck, I was here first and I'll not be moving anytime soon. Get over it.
