As far as I can read in this book a little blood is ok but when it get heavy and alot then you should do some calling. You could even call a local place such as a 24 doctor clinc or local help line. Most places have those! Just call them and talk to them! I don't know where you live or anything to help you so look in the phone book.

statistically about %20 of women will bleed in their first trimester of pregnancy and %50 of those women have miscarriages, so it doesn't necessarily mean she is miscarrying but bleeding is a sign (even light bleeding). Is she cramping (that is also a sign)? It is probably too soon to see anything on an ultrasound but her doctor can do one if she wants. One way to know is to have blood test done. They will see where her hormone levels are and then test two days later. If they increase at a normal rate (double every two days) then she is fine, but if it doesn't increase or goes down then she may be miscarrying. FYI %50 of all first pregnancies miscarry and %85 of those women go on to have normal pregnancies the next time they get pregnant. I just had an early miscarriage so I know what she is feeling, just remind her that it isn't anything she is doing and it's better that it happens earlier than later.

I don't think an ultrasound would show anything this early in the pregnancy and if she's having bright red vaginal bleeding, it could be a miscarriage and she needs to get to the hospital. I started bleeding at six weeks and they called it a "threatened miscarriage" It means that within the next 24-48 hours I might or might not miscarry the baby. If it was a strong pregnancy then the bleeding would stop. But if not then the pregnancy would terminate. Either way though, she needs to get to the hospital.

I am 37 weeks pregnant today and at four weeks I had precisely the identical thing as you - light bleeding over a couple of days, crimson or light brown. I had a tiny glob come out too that gave the look of ancient blood, type of stringy. I was so worried I suggestion i used to be miscarrying. I noticed a healthcare professional and he mentioned you must always see your health care professional with any kind of bleeding for the period of being pregnant but that what i had was once most commonly implantation bleeding, which in general happens round four weeks and is the fertilized egg attaching itself on the wall of the uterus. It used to be additionally too early for me to have an ultrasound but the physician did do another blood test on me, the equal one again that he had done in the beginning to confirm if i was pregnant once I overlooked my interval, to check the phases of the being pregnant hormone HCG. He found that the phases of HCG had gone up for the reason that my final blood test so thus i used to be nonetheless pregnant. He instructed me to return again for an ultrasound in every week or so if i had any further bleeding, nevertheless it stopped and i have not had any issues considering the fact that. After that I was once relatively grateful for all my being pregnant signs - morning ailment, sore breasts, steel style in my mouth as it let me be aware of my baby was nonetheless there. Its a excellent signal that you're not having any discomfort. The best thing I did when going via that anxious stage used to be take a few days off work to chill out. Stress is not just right for you during being pregnant. Is there any other assessments they may be able to do for you besides a scan whilst you're ready maybe? Check along with your doctor. Additionally, it is real that females can proceed their interval by way of being pregnant so it should even be that. The primary trimester is the hardest since you must be so cautious and you're going to in general hold stressful about each little thing. Just right luck, i am hoping the whole thing is okay...

You cant even tell if you're pregnant until at least 4 weeks.. 4-5 weeks will show on a test. Anything before 4 weeks would need a blood test to determine the result.
This maybe just her period.
I am 10 weeks and had a bit of bleeding 2 weeks ago. Red blood is fresh but if it is browny in colour it may be old.

It is very possible that she is having her last period before her full blown symptoms start. It all really depends on how heavy the bleeding is; if it is fairly light I wouldnt worry. If she is having moderate to heavy bleeding I would see a doctor or go to the ER ASAP! An ultrasound wont show anything until about 5+ weeks, and then its barely worth trying because you see a very tiny dot. See if around then the doc can hear the heart beat.

If she is positive that she is pregnant and she is bleeding like a regular period flow, then she needs to get herself to a doctor or an emergency room right away! If they catch it early enough they can give her drugs to help clot the blood, in other words, save her baby! If it's only spots on her underwear though or something, that's just implantation bleeding probably.

I had my period for three months during my pregnancy. Rare. Call the Doctor. Yes, an ultrasound can show a small fetus. Only after 3 weeks. My friend had an ectopic (In the tubes) pregnancy and that's how they found the source of her abdomen pain.

God Bless

You're in my prayers.

It depends on the amount of bleeding. Sometimes you can have a small amount of bleeding during what would normally be your period. She needs to get to the ER asap to be sure.
