Well, the obvious reason would be that he is trying to cover the scar that he has from the transplant of his Sharingan Eye, that he received from his deceased comrade Obito Uchia. I dont say obvious as in being a smart ***, I mean it seems somewhat obvious that thats whats behind his mask. Im taking a guess here, but thats probably what he's hiding. Its not that unsightly, because in episode 101, when Naruto, Sasuke, And Sakura where trying to get Kakashi to eat, for the brief time he took off his mask, while the three where pre occupied, the Store Owners daughter thought he looked gorgeous under the mask. So thats why I'm guessing it's just to cover up his scar.

Whats there to see hes a human being like all the other characters in Naruto. I highly doubt Kishimoto will drastically mess with Kakashi's face. I don't care if Kakashi takes off his mask or not, he looks cooler with it on in my opinion.

I already watched that episode 101...it's really funny! Thought Kakashi would finally reveal what's really under his mask...but it was another mask!!! Hehe...but for me to think, base on my observation from the reactions of the two workers in the ramen shop were Naruto likes to eat, Kakashi must be really handsome!!! Who knows??? But I won't think that he has a big teeth underneath his mask!!!
