49ers because their the best. 5 time Super Bowl champs with the best QB, wide receiver, safety, and coach(bill walsh) of all times. Plus I live about 5 minutes from the stadium.

Always have been a Patriots fan.
Grew up in N.E. and even wrote a weekly column for their website (they were the first NFL team to have a website) and their weekly newspaper, Patriots Football Weekly, for 3 yrs.
I went thru all the tough 1-15, 2-14 seasons and now that they are the current NFL dynasty, it was all worth it.
How great would the NFL be if the Colts and the Pats were in different Conferences? That would be a great Super Bowl year after year.
The NFC doesn't have a chance to compete with any AFC teams for the foreseeable future.

Pittsburgh Steelers....because they through the years have played the same type of football. They are the most consistent team with regards to football philosophy. They keep the same coaches and feed other NFL teams with their drafts. They rely on defense and running games win, and with 5 superbowls(could be six if not for two of the worst passes in Superbowl history)...I hate the west coast offense, and all the spread sets.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers. I live in Florida, and they always seem to put on a good game even if they don't always win.
My wife says I am a pirate at heart, so it fits.
Also the New Orleans Saints. My High School was Black and Gold, and for me the Saints represent the old south, were my childhood was rooted.

I grew up a 49er's fan. But I moved to Baltimore the same year that the Ravens came over from Cleveland so I decided to root for them from day one. I still root for both teams.

I have been a Green Bay Packer fan for over 40 years. I grew up seeing Horning , Taylor, Starr, Lombardi etc. I guess I just stuck with them through thick and thin

I cheer for the Ravens because Ray Lewis is sexy and I am from Baltimore. I would say and because their team is pretty good but thats not always the case. I also dont function well when they lose.

Dallas Cowboys. Fell in love with the cheerleaders back in 1976 when I was just a lad. :) Also, Roger Staubach was a great quarterback.
