Stretch leather? ha, have fun with that one. next time get a jacket that fits.

The traditional cowboy way to stretch leather is to fill large cast iron pot half full of cattle blood, add whatever needs stretching, and top off with chopped cow brains. Hoist with chain over small
smokeless fire, stir until mixture bubbles, and then slip it over a
mold to set. In your case that would be the upper body. Allow to dry in sunshine a full summer day. Have heard some use urine in-lieu-of cattle blood but I personally don't believe that.

Don't even try - you want the leather to be as stiff and thick as you can get it. Don't worry, it'll soften up with use. And if it doesn't fit - buy a new one. Leather stretching fluids only work on very small areas.

You can have it altered at a leather shop but might be expensive
