I have these friends, they're great, and I know I can't expect them to be perfect, but they can be quite condescending they go to this really "hard" school, and look down on my grades like "Oh, all A's? That's nice, but if you went to MY school you'd fail" And I want to scream and say, "No, I get good grades because I apply myself and work my butt off!" but I've never done that. When I say that I have a hard class they say, "Yeah right, as if it's hard as mine." They also refuse to believe that I could get into an Ivy League school because my school isn't as "hard" as theirs. I want to say it's not exactly what school you go to, but what grades you get. And I've had enough, they come and ask ME for help, when according to them their school is so smart, and mine isn't. They love pointing out how far ahead they are of me and I'm tired of it, because all it is is that I try my best to get good grades. How can tell them my good grades are due to my hard work, not because my school is "Easy"

I really think that a new set of friends is what you need. Real friends don't treat their friends that way. They put you down, so they can feel better about themselves in their own twisted way. Their self esteem probably needs some help. Ignore their comments and start hanging with people that respect you and like you for you. You don't need friends that are constantly competing against you for no reason. When you graduate from an Ivy legue college in the years ahead, that will be all you need to put them in their place, and you'll be laughing all the way to the bank. Just becareful not to step on them on your way up. Just keep up with your hard work. You'll probably be their boss one day. :)

Girl, think about who you keep company with, your friends should support you not down you or judge you.I say ignore them, or just let them have it.You may consider them friends but in my personal opinion (which is what yahoo, answer is all about)Their haters, and they need to get over it.Cause you can do bad all by your self, but since your already doing good, you could do even better with out them.
