There is really no way to make money in front of the computer except doing website design. He could give that a try?

you can earn money online only if you have skill on computer and internet side. don't get caught with some spammers who get your money and get lost.
better learn programming or designing or typing or drawing.
these are four paths through which you can earn online. for your brother i suggest web designing.
