Michael Jackson is a Black man. He has a lot of body-image issues stemming from a lot of things, but the memories he talks about the most are when he was going through puberty and people started commenting on how he wasn't cute anymore because of his pimples and nose.
He came from a crazy household to begin with so I'm not surprised he's so messed up internally. As for his crazy plastic surgery and skin lightening, the only difference between him and any other messed up person with body image issues is that he had the money to try and change his appearance. So now he looks like a sickly white person who is decaying from the nose out.

Michael is a black man. Why is that so hard to understand? No, I don't understand how his skin is white but that doesn't change the fact that he was born a black male. There. Your question is answered.

Sadly,he wanted to desperately be white for some weird reason.

He is a black man grown up from a black boy. He just has a great dermatologist and a great plastic surgeon who altered his features and his skin color resulting in his present appearance.
