Well one, he said that he was doing the slam dunk contest for the money. I mean cut him some slack. He's a 20 year old kid, who pretty much until last years NCAA tournament, wasnt that famous. I mean why would the cut him from the slam dunk contest? The NBA should be glad that there are people to even do the slam dunk contest, no matter what their reasons are.

LeBron has been hurt every year before the all star game and this year his toes are messed up

and those are key for pushing off and jumping

also to get big stars in the dunk contest you need other big stars in it for them to compete against

As for Thomas it's not like they can get anyone much better although I would have liked to see AI2 in it again

I mean he is a rookie but participating just for the money. What an idiot, probably the biggest mistake he's made in the NBA so far.
$10000 worth in fact. He deserved it. Probably doesn't have a conscious like Gilbert Arenas

he should be cut
just because the commissioner is so tight with nba players and how they react this season

i think he is going to use this as an example
come on hes a rookie
this is a perfect opportunity for something like this to happen

Nah...he's a rookie, he messed up. He's already been fined for it by the Bulls, and publicly appologized. Besides that, no big-names want in anyway.
