Why does Windows XP suck?

First, because it is created under Microsoft, so everyone has to pay a lot of money to get just one copy of the software.

Second, because it is not open-source, so only Microsoft has the legal right to modify the software.

Third, because there's no other OS who can suck more than Windows XP does. (see? many still depend on Windows, so it's hard to leave the legacy from Microsoft)

BUT, that only works in western countries where you guys don't do piracy as much as we are doing here.. I live in Indonesia, and for us, Windows XP doesn't really suck, because basically we get it for free (we can get a copy of Windows XP, or any other software with 2 US dollars).

There are only 2 things that really suck about Windows XP that suck.

1. It is overpriced.
2. There are too many people that know how to write malicious code for it.

Beyond that it is the most stable version of Windows to date. Windows is also currently the only Operating System supported by all hardware manufacturers. Finally if you are a gamer no other OS has the game selection that Windows has. In all honesty gaming and the business world are all that keeps people from going to Mac or Linux.

It's Sucks Because of we only, Microsoft is just playing with us, mean to say, always upgrading . Giving of lots of Confusions. and the Latest Vista Will be Big Flop ( Make It Sure...) XP some what ok, if you used 2000 & 98 you have fell lot better with XP. I am XP User. I hate 98 & 2000 ME.

windows xp does not suck, you are probably saying that because you have windows vista or a mac. I don't like mac pcs not that many software out there for it. most of the manufacturers make software for pcs than for macs. I work at a factory where they build apple computers (G5,Imac, Mini mac) and I don't like them. I would only buy one now since they are being built with intel motherboards which I can reformat the HD and install windows xp on it. it can be done. But you say that XP sucks and we respect your opinion. maybe you don't know how to use xp and the programs that go with it.

What's wrong with Windows Vista? Please give us more details. If you really want to go back to XP, then you need to buy a disc at your local retailer but you gotta hurry because M$ is going to stop supporting it during this month. Then you need to format your hard drive to install XP on it.

Actually the "xp" version it's pretty stable, in latin america it's used by every body, because we can't acces to any Mac's product's.

it is because, the kernel program of windows xp sp1 is came from linux kernel program...and so sp2, sp3 and vista...so still it is xp "experiencing"...in conclusion, is windows has an experience or no experience? i wonder!!!
