Our little piggies love romaine lettuce and cucumber. We also try other fruits and veges from a list I found on the internet linked below.

Besides a constant supply of timothy hay & fresh water and a daily scoop of pellets:

1. Red peppers
2. Parsley
3. Kale
4. Green peppers
5. Strawberries
6. Oranges
7. Cabbage
8. Spinach
9. ROMAINE lettuce (don't feed iceberg!)
10. Carrots

Your piggies should enjoy ALL of those treats. They're ranked in order of what has the most vitamin C, #1 being the most. Guinea pig pellets aren't enough to supply your piggie with all the Vitamin C he needs, which is why feeding him a little cupful of veggies/fruits each day is so important. Good luck!

All your usual kitchen scraps are good, things such as lettuce leaves, vegetable peelings etc. If you don't have enough from what you produce in your own kitchen (guinea pigs eat a lot) you can always ask you local green grocer for any scraps. They often have big boxes of lettuce leaves and things which have fallen off and are no good to sell. They should give them to you for free.

My guinea pigs used to love tomato, don't know why it was just their personal favourite. They also eat grass. You can buy food from the pet store which looks like dry pellets, this is probabyl fine also. I never bought any of that though. Have fun!

For babies, give them Alfalfa hay, then switch to Timothy when they get older. These hays are a great source of nutrients for you babies! Fresh veggies daily are a great treat, too! As far as brand for food, I have been told by vets and pet store workers that Living World is the best brand. This is what I use. Mine prefer "Extrusion" as opposed to "Classic". Whatever food you choose, try not to switch around. That is not good for them.
Enjoy your guinea pigs!

Guinea pigs will eat the same things as rabbits. Start with alfalfa pellets, then get timothy hay or other hays that available.Plenty of clean water. Give them a treat of fresh vegetables and fruits. then seeds or nuts very little. Hope this help you. Don't give them to much fruits or vegetables add to much water to their diet. They need the roughage from alfalfa and hay to keep healthy
