My husband and I have been married eight months now and I am considering divorce, but I also have thought that we might qualify for an annulment. He has refused to have sex with me at all during our marriage and we have absolutely no intimate contact of that nature. We had sex only once on our honeymoon only after me making a hysterical scene in the hotel room and threatening to go get drunk somewhere if he didn't. We both live in Ohio and have one child together from before the marriage. Thank you for any information on this matter!

consult a lawyer. Many will do the first visit free, you may qualify for legal aid , and some womans shelters or support groups can arrange legal advice.

Non-consumation of marriage is one ground for annulment. The fact you have a child complicates the issue.

Good luck .

I think you can get an annulment if it's less than a year, check with your courthouse. Just make sure you deal with child support and custody.
