When a man get a woman pregnant, hopefully, the said man actually wants to be part of the child's life. But legally, the man can say that the child is not his and not be part of the child's life, there is a reason why now a days, when a child is born, the man has to sign a agreement saying that he is the child's father, else on the birth certificate that is left blank. Also if you are quite sure that is his child, to make sure, do get a dna test done to be absoutly sure that the child is his and then go to court and get the child support for the child and use it only to raise the child, not to go out and have fun for yourself. In other words, yes he can claim that the child is not his, even if the dna proves it right, but he will still be paying out child support from the court of law's stand point.

He can attempt to, but that doesn't change or eliminate the legal and financial responsibility. The only way that can change is if the child is legally adopted by a new parent, or has reached his/her age of majority, usually 18, and all prior financial obligations have been met.

If this is your child, and you are not already getting support payments, seek them immediately. Do not wait any longer, this man is trying to screw you. Again.

Disclaim? what do you mean.

No he is responsible forthi child. Allow he can refuse to have a part in raising the child but he is lible to pay support. I another man adopts the child this usually ends a support agreement.

He should do the right thing and take responsibility.

If you take him to friend of the court and get an injuction for a DNA test and he proves to be the father--he may sign off his legal rights regarding the child--and therefore all liabilities including child support.

As long as he keeps paying the child support he can do anything else that pleases him. If he stops paying the child support he'll go to jail. DNA testing will prove he's the father.

It goes like this. The man can "deny" being the father, but could never "disclaim" the child he sired.
