Ladies, what is discharge?why do we get it and is it bad?

My sister and i both get discarge (vaginal) and it's really nasty, but we haven't been to the doctors or anything.Any way is this bad, does every lady get this?HELP

It depends on what kind of discharge you are talking about. Every woman has some discharge from their vagina. That is how it keeps itself clean. Usually it is clear, but if yours has a color or smells bad, you should see a doctor.
