Hopefully, you are a United States Citizen. I went to work on my 14th birthday. All of my six siblings started baby-sitting at the age of 10, we had to help with the household expenses. I loved working when I was 14. The drive-in restaurant was where most of the students worked. If you are a U.S. Citizen and can find an honest job, do it. You will not regret it.

I think you ought to study. 14 is no age to work. If you still need the money then work part time. There is no substitute for education. It is very essential. The world is getting to be a competitive place and one should be equipped to deal with it to survive.

Grocery Stores
You wont get paid the best but you can sack and do drive up.
They wont allow you to work registers until your 15 or 16.
Here in Iowa you can't get a permit to drive back and forth to school.
