Ok so I have a boyfriend that is in the Army. Right now he is at Fort Sam Houston at AIT, he graduates on Feb. 27th and will offically be a Medic of the US Army. My Boyfriend, Billy, says he wants to go to Ranger school. That means if he is not accepted then he will not get to come home for 2-3weeks? He also said that if he is accepted he will probably go to Gerogia? or Fort Bragg? Not sure, and in that case he may have a better chance of not getting deployed but see I REALLY want to see him and I want him to come home after Graduation but I told him to what he wants and as of right now he wants to do the Ranger thing. what happends if he is deployed though? I'm confused on what is going to happen but does anyone have anything to add to this? like maybe someone that has been through AIT and knows what might happen? I don't want him to get deployed but right now I have no idea what is going to happen? Any advice? I'm dieing without him but my life is not always going to be this way.

I'm scared I will not see him again.. or it will be a long time.. once again separated for God only knows how long. I mean I'm keeping this to myself and I mean he wants to come home to but I said follow your dream or your goal and do what you want to do. Do not let me hold you back. I now he loves me but I want him to do what he wants to do. We both miss each other VERY much but this is how things are right now. I'm scared of him getting deployed or something.

I know it's hard when your love one has to be gone for so long.

My husband had to go over seas to Saudi Arabia for a year and it was hard because our little girl was only 5 months old and now he just found out he may have to go back.

All I can tell you is to keep your head up and keep in touch with him either by phone or email and if you have any pics send them to him with an email.

Wow, You have picked a hard life for yourself missy!!!

The best thing you can do if you truely love this guy is support him 22345243512345%

Ranger school is one of the HARDEST things he will EVER go thru! He will not be able to communicate with you at all for a while!!! Support him! Its AWESOME to make it. I remeber seeing my brother when he got out and had made it. He had to try 3 times!!!!

If he gets deployed you will have little contact at times but will always be able to send letters and care packages.

Time flys bye.. Get close to his and your family because they are going to miss him too!!! Take things day by day and love him with all you got and be happy and support!!!

Good Luck!! keep a record of all these memories forhim!! it wil give you something to do and look back on later for him!!!

well if he's joined the full time regular army you can forget him being home for as long as he's in. its not going to happen so other than him getting to come home for a very short time he will be away until he gets out of the army.
