i have been a florida fan for many years and am thrilled that they won the national title, even the worst team in the nfl would probably beat them. and for those who say that boise is as good or better, thats a joke, boise would get slaughtered, they had to go to ot with ou.

I prefer college football over the NFL, but I know that not even the greatest college football team of all times would have a chance against even the worst NFL team ever. The 1976 Tampa Bay Buccaneers would beat the 1995 Nebraska Cornhuskers. I say that being a life long Husker fan.

It depends on if you are talking college or if you are including the Pros too and that means NFL, Arena and NFLE. But if it is just college. The future suitcases (gators) got lucky. Why? Because on any given day, any team can be on the wrong end of the scoreboard. This time it was OSU. Now if the future belts can repeat. You might have something to talk about,but then again. I'm not a college football fan.

They're a great team and for the record most of the SEC teams in bowls this year (with exception of a few) could beat Boise State

ayy.. the florida gators are not the best team on earth.. boise state would beat them if they got the chance to play them. i think that the bcs bowl system is whack. they need to change it because the underrated teams never get a chance to get to the top and shinee!

Someone explain to me how a team that had to go to OT to beat Oklahoma could beat Florida who destroyed their better opponent.

USC is the better team that is why the NCAA needs a playoff system for D-1A football.
