They can be really helpful. If you are wanting to get a reservation for a restaurant or show that is really hard to get in and may be sold out, they are usually able to work around things and get you in.

Sometimes a concierge room will also include an area in the hotel (near the room) where you will be able to find special snacks and drinks that only concierge guests can use. That can make it a little more worth the price.

I like to stay concierge, they take care of so much for you that it makes the vacation a little more relaxing. Just be sure to tip them well for their work.

Generally, the conceirge at any of the Strip hotels have the most "juice" (meaning, the most connections) of any employee at the hotel - they can be VERY helpful if you want to get into the hottest clubs, shows, or restaurants - they often know just WHO to call to hook you up.

Depending on what you need...they can be very helpful. I have learned to really appreciate everything that they do. For the most part, the ones that I have used have been very friendly and helpful.
