as much as i love the warriors, i'd have to say no. then again i'm waiting until after the all-star break to really give a definitive answer. if you asked this question before the trade or if it had never happened i wouldve said no easily but we have 4 great new players who add to the already large talent and inspire the team to work harder than they have ever worked before. for a team who has struggled with many injured players from the beginning of the season til now and has just gone through a major trade, they're really not doing too bad. im just glad the trade happened because after years of disappointment it was time for a change. al and steven jackson in a lineup with baron, monta, and andris looks very promising and will be deadly once j-rich comes back. but i agree that they need more time to gel as a team because the new guys are still trying to really get a handle of nellie's system while the rest of the team adjusts. but we'll just have to see now wont we!? the rest of this season will showcase what kind of future the warriors have with this new team. and once the season is over, they'll be able to work on their own individual strengths and weaknesses as well as their team chemisty in order to make a true run for the pacific division next year. all in all, i still have some speck of hope but i wouldnt count them in or out just yet.

Probably not. The West has a lot of really good teams this year and I just dont think the Warriors are one of the top 8.

If they were in the East, they'd be a lock. In the West, it's just too competitive. It's sick that 1-10 the Western Conference is dangerous!

They have the talent now, maybe if they had Harrington and Jackson from the get-go they could have made a run for it, but now I think it is too little too late competing in the talented West conferance.

I think they have a better chance now that they have made that trade with the Pacers.
