I want to make my own pinup board for my home office, which will be framed and covered in frontrunner material, but I cant remember the name of the fibreous material used as the pin base for them. I thought it was cainite (sic) (cane-night), but no results in my local search on yahoo for Australian suppliers. Any help appreciated.

In the United States of America it is available and called Homasote board and it is available in 4 x 8 sheets. The specific product with cork laminated to it called Novacork is used here for bulletin board making. I have included the website.
