Designing website for forum. Which one of the following is best?

JSP and Oracle
PHP and MySQL

I prefer PHP and MySQL.
I really hate jsp, but Oracle makes great db products.

I use php and MySQL whenever possible.

Actually, like so many computer-related questions, which one's best is really a matter of personal preference.

What's better, a PC or Mac?

USB or Firewire?

Corel or Photoshop?

Coke or Pepsi?

In this case, JSP and Oracle are stronger programming languages, but the learning curve is a little higher on them. So, if you're a beginner, go with PHP and MySQL.

There is no right or wrong answer, just use whatever you like and feel more comfortable with.
