Im not part of the group but I went to a meeting last week I got some key points but having a hard time relating to a man or woman. as being or has been an alcoholic how dow these subjects relate to you and the meetings?
1.acceptance
2.copping
3. simple program to complicated people
4. emotional rescue

Iwent to AA for for 3 years & I never understood it & I am a female of Faith - There are better things to do with your time

I am so proud of you for getting help! For acceptance you have to admit your problem. Coping is how you plan to deal with it. You also have to open to people!
You are doing great remeber the key points! Getting help for your problems good for you!
I would never go to Alcohol Anonymous unless somebody pushed me to go ! I don't drink Alcohol
