why would you need that info? there really is no reason to know. As no cpu nor video card can be upgraded. cpu very rarely can be. If you are looking at adding memory or hd, goto the maker's site and look up the model number for details. Motherboards are usually not listed, just the chipset it uses.

You can download Everest Personal Edition. This tool would give a Complete report on the Software and Hardware Configuration of your Laptop and/or Desktop.

If you are using windows XP or so, simply go to START then click RUN then write DXDIAG and press enter. It will give you all the details of your system.
