Hi! Actual ages of puberty for young men is between 12 and 16 years old, when you do the majority of your growing. However, this is does NOT mean that stop growing at the age of 16. My brother was 5'6" tall at the age of 14. By the time he was 19 he was 6'5" tall!! He did all of that growing between the ages of 17 & 19.
So, you see, you can continue to keep on growing well past 16yrs. old. Plus, it's genetic. If your Father, Grandfather, Uncles, etc., are tall, chances are you will also be tall. Ask them about what ages they had their growth spurts and I bet you'll find out they were what is called "late bloomers".
And, finally, don't worry so much about your height!! Some of the most famous people are not tall! Look throughout history...Caesar Augustus, Napoleon, Phil Collins, Prince, Dustin Hoffman, Tom Cruise, to name a few. None of those men are really that tall. In fact, none of them are over 5'8" tall!
Height does not make the man. It's who you are that is most important.

My understanding is the men may continue growing until about the age of 23. Barring disease or birth defect, you should likely end up at a height somewhere between your mother and father's.
I am a shorter than average man myself at 5'6". When I started high-school at 14, everyone left me behind - even the girls. This didn't sound believable to me they either. I was barely 5' when I graduated and slowly grew the remaining 6" between 18 and 22. Some of us are late bloomers.
More important than what will happen when you are in your 20s is how you deal with this now. The best thing is to be confident; your height doesn't define you. People will only treat you differently if you let them know that (a) it bothers you and (b) that you agree with them. Be happy with who you are.
At your age, life wasn't so easy for me and this was one of my issues. Much of what I felt was based on my perception of what others thought of me because I was smaller than everyone else and not what they really thought. Although things bothered me, I did my best not to show it and only found out later that, although not popular, I was well liked - I just didn't know it, because I let this sort of thing become too important.
Maybe I read more into your question than was there and, if so, then I apologize. Best of luck.

Yes, you could continue growing until 21. Operative word is "could". Most likely, you are about as tall as you are going to get. You're not saying exactly how short you are. If you are truely short, like under 5 foot, see a doctor. There are drugs called growth harmones that can increase your height. Don't expect to gain 12 inches, but it can give you some additional height.

I'm not sure. I was tall as a child & felt awkward. I used to push my legs against the foot of the bed trying to shrink them because kids called me "daddy long legs" & picked on me. But I stopped growing at about 13. My nephew seems to keep growing. Years later I had people asking me if I was a model.
Some people wish they were shorter, some wish they were taller. A lot of people wish they were different.
The key is to be happy with yourself. We're all unique. Height is one of the things we have no control over. We can't change it but we can accept it & be ok with it.
Remember the Serenity Prayer:
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I can not change,
the courage to change the things I can & the wisdom to know the difference.
You may grow or you may not but it shouldn't matter. It's the person inside that counts.
Love yourself! That's an order!
Take care.

so they say... but a lot of people top out earliar than 21. I'm 6'0 and topped out when I was about 15. A good indication is the height of your father.

People grow at different rates, and it may be possible for you to continue growing. But I wouldn't put money on it.
