im 18 and have written over 30 poems and stories since i was 10ish. does anyone know anything about lulu and whether it would be a good publishing source for me? i write short stories 500-3000 words, with poetry as well.

any advice would be great!

Yes, you can self publish your books there for free. However, don't expect to get any sales unless you promote the book yourself. They also take a portion of the sales of your book, which is how they maintain the site and make money. Most on the site are writers/publishers themselves and not actually buyers.

However, there is an option available where you can pay a certain fee, and they will also place your book on other large online stores and such. They also, I believe have marketing services if your looking to make extra income with your book.
