Yours, was a bad one.

Why would anyone ever put TWO sentence finishers on the end of a sentence...mind boggling.

What about good and bad teachers? A thesis is arguable. No one will argue that there are good and bad teachers. That is simply a statement of fact. Think of what you want to say. Do you want to say there are more good teachers than bad teachers? That is arguable, so is the reverse. Do you want to say that good teachers should get paid more than bad bad teachers? Again arguable and you would have to explain how that would work and why. Do you want to say that younger teacher or older teachers are better or worse? Do you want to say that elementary teachers are better than secondary teachers? You need to make a statement that people can agree or disagree on, then prove why you are right.

Good and bad at what? Would a teacher whose tests scores are high, but is rude and hateful to the kids be considered good? Would a teacher whose tests score were not that good but he/she took time out for each and every kid to let them know they were loved and cared about be considered good?

I guess you will need to decide how good and bad are defined. Many teachers that have advanced degrees at my school are the worst. Maybe correlate test scores to teacher experience?

The good ones have a passion for either teaching or their subject matter and can communicate it to their students.
The bad ones either can't communicate well or have no passion.
