Hi... So i have been having sex with my boyfriend for about a month and a half or so, and each time, maybe 2 hours or so afterwards, i get this lower stomache pain, more an ache than anything else, that lasts for a while, maybe 3 or so hours. there is no pain during, just after. I'm small, 5'2", and a gymnast so everything is kinda compact, and i was wondering if maybe this pain was just from my body not quite being used to this... large... object? Will this pain go away eventually as i get used to him? I don't really want to have to deal with this every time afterwards. Thanks...

- Maybe i should add, this is the first guy i have had sex with, and i am kinda young. We both had STD tests before hand, so i know its not that. Thanks

Sorry about double post.

- And i checked up on the other symptoms, for the Endo. And i do not match any of them, and there are never stomache aches on days we do not have sex.

There are a couple things that I think could cause this....and they are pretty common. One, I think you could be stressed...you haven't been sexually active for very long, and even if you were, it is common for women to be tense about/during sex. Two, I think that it is possible that he is penetrating too far, which could also cause pain. Tell him not to go so deep, and try out different positions to see what works best for you.

maybe he's too big for you although that would be rare. sexual incompatibility is rare. you'll just have to get used to it. try other positions where it doesn't go in so deep or where you can control the penetration like you on top. have fun figuring it out. I should be so lucky. lol.

Yeah - definitely sounds like endometriosis to me. It's quite common but get it checked out before it gets worse.

make an appointment with your OBGYN. i had the same trouble, it turned out i had endometrosis. it can be clear up with birth control pills and some times a same day surgery. i ended up having to have surgery. talk to your doctor, he will be able to help you make the right decision.

I would go see your doctor could be a type of cervical cancer. Can't think of the name of it, but my mother-in-law had similar symptoms and that's what it was.

No, sounds like you may need a pap test and full check up with your obgyn(female doc). This is not something that's normal, hope you didn't catch something, good luck with your ventures..
