I had unprotected sex about a month ago with my boyfriend we were both virgins and he used the pull-out method Because it was the spur of the moment type of sex. I took a pregnancy test and it came out negitive but i took it a little sooner than the test told me to. Im taking Yaz birth control and im scared that if im possibly pregnant will it hurt the baby? And lately I've gained about 3 pounds, Been feelings tired and been having to go to the bathroom alot. Ive also been getting a little bigger underneath my stomah. Is it possible that I'm pregnant?

This is the most asked question on Yahoo,,,Could I be pregnant, well you might, but how the hell are we supposed to know if you are pregnant, you know what you did, for Christ sakes, please go get a blood test from the DR. to know for sure because nobody here can answer that question with exact certainty.

Were you on your Yaz birth control for at least a week before having sex? If you were, then you should be fine. Birth control takes a week to fully protect against pregnancy. If you were only a month along you would not be having symptoms like you mentioned, weight gain and peeing a lot doesn't happen right away. It doesn't sound like your pregnant to me. Also, about the birth control, it will not hurt a baby if you are pregnant, although it is best to get off of it ASAP if you are. Like I said though, you really don't sound like you are. Do you secretly want to be pregnant or something? Because you mentioned you took the test even earlier then you were supposed to. So it sounds like you took it before you even missed a period, like you're kind of secretly hoping you could be.

If you are afraid of being pregnant I would definitely find out for sure its very important that you know. If you took the pregnancy test too early there is a good chance it was not effective. I understand that your boyfriend pulled out, but he can pre ejaculate it wont be much and probably not even noticeable but it only takes one sperm. I wouldn't try that again if your worried. Take another test, I know you think you have symptoms of pregnancy but they could that its normal your just noticing it more because your scared. The pill will lesson your risk of pregnancy Which is so much better than no protection. If your on the pill it may put you at ease to know I have friends that are on the pill and have been sexually active for years and used no condoms or pullout method and have never gotten pregnant. But with that said still take necessary precautions. Good luck to you.
Hope all ends up in your favor

If you've come off birth control and are having unprotected sex then it's definitely possible that you're pregnant. Pulling out reduces the risk but many aren't aware (especially guys) that the girl can still get pregnant. All of your symptoms are valid, but you might be imagining some of them because you're considering the possiblilties. Maybe have a preganancy test or wait for your period. Its best to know earlier so you can make a decision. It has happened to a lot of my mates.

looks like nobody answered your question about the Yaz hurting you if you ARE pregnant..... no it won't. I was prescribed norethrindrone to start my period but it didnt' start because i was pregnant. I called my nurse and she said obviously you don't want to take it for a long amount of time but a month or two isn't going to hurt anything. Just don't be drinking and doing drugs if you think you are. Also go to the store and get yourself some prenatal pills, they're good to take even if you're not pregnant!
Good luck

anytime you have sex with no kind of birth control there is a chance of pregnancy. Keep in mind that buying condoms or getting on birth control is a whole lot cheaper than raising a child for 18 years

Theres always that possibility. But usually the weight gain and stomach changes occur after about 8 weeks or so. I would worry about getting tired a lot. That was my first indication of pregnancy.
Just try not to get so freaked out about it because your mind can create its own symptoms also...

when ever you have unpretected sex there is always a chance of pregnancy and by ignoring that fact can mean facing the cinsequence of being pregnant which is never a good thing is you are not stable and ready to bring a baby into the world so please take another test in a week or 2 and if its still negative please use protection no matter how inconvient it is -Kristy

If this is your first time on the pill and if you didn't take it like you were supposed to and if you hadn't taken it long enough, then yes to all. BUT, being tired, wt gain, and "bloating" might be effects of the birth control. Go see your dr asap!!!!!!
