Is your face, the way it looks in the mirror to you, different from what other people see when they look at you face to face? If yes, how can you see what your face looks like to other people?

I don't know. I do know that I think I am prettier than I actually am.
Does that make sense?

You see your face different then what other people see because in a mirror you are focusing on your face and intently staring at every little feature whereas others look at your face but don't necessarily stare at it and pull it apart for its flaws. In essence, you are all seeing the same thing but you view it as different because it is familiar.

I think that its a little different because when you look in the mirror, your not expressing any emotions, your only looking in it to see what you want to see. But when people look at you your features change. I guess the only way you can see what other people are seeing is if you videotape yourself? Hope it helps!

Everyone has a different perception of how they look; when they see others as they see themselves; it all comes down to what's inside and that is what projects. Believe me, people know if you are a good soul. Don't get hung up if you see a picture, for example, that you don't like. You'll be asking yourself, "do I really look that way". You probably don't!

I'm guessing its all in opinion, everybody sees something different. But most of the time. If you look in a mirror, what you see is what you get.

yes of course we look the exact same in the mirror and when other people see us...yet we and others like and are attracted to different images..sometimes i look at myself and dont feel as attractive yet others say that im beautiful and would love to have a body like mine...but then im like "i am beautiful and am grateful to be me" (its natural to sometimes feel unattractive every once in a while).... like for example : everyone tastes food the exact same way yet we all have different taste buds....i might LOVE cheese cake yet it can make someone want to vomit...see we taste it the same way but feel different about it...the same with image :)

Interesting question, I've always thought about that. When you look into the mirror you see your left and right. But when someone looks at you , they see right, left. For example, When i look at my friend in the mirror, her eyes are uneven. But if you look at her without the mirror, her eyes look same. Ya dig? BUt mostly, yea, you look same. Hope i solved your question :)

Yes and No because people see different profiles of your face at different angles.

yes it is different, because you see yourself constantly....which mean that an error for you might be a turn on for someone else..and there is no way you can see your face as other people do....♥

you will look the same. but when you look at yourself in the mirror you tend to see alot of flaws, (esp girls) while when others look at you they might not see the flaws that you think you have.
