I am 21 years old and have been on birth control for like 3 years and have been fine. Recently I started having abdominal pain on both sides, sometimes sharp but sometimes just aching pain almost like something feels like its moving. I have a bout a week and a half until my next period. I am also having some low back pain. I also have had an increase in clear/whitish discharge. any ideas of what this could be. I have had ovarian cysts in the past.

I would get a check up with your doc. It is difficult to diagnose your symptoms otherwise. Pain is a good indicator something is wrong, especially if these are new symptoms.

You just answered my question about the cysts...but your symptoms are the same thing I was having and the reason I went to the Dr. and that's when she diagnosed me with the cysts. She also told me I have a B.V. infection because of my whitish discharge???? The body is confusing!!

With the pain you are telling us and where it sounds like you have an infection. These are not the signs of pregnancy. If you have had sex with out using a condom you could of caught the infection from your boyfriend. He also needs to be checked out for this too. Both of you need to be given the right treatment. Best go to the gum clinic for further tests. Good luck xx

Here is a simple remedy until you see your doctor.Massaging the back muscles will reduce the pain.Apply an icepack to the affected area. This will make the area numb and reduce the pain. More details and remedies at http://aches.in/backpainremedies.html

sounds like a trip to your obgyn is pretty necessary in your case. You can have anything from a nasty yeast infection, all the way to a cyst of sorts, better be safe than sorry, right?!
