There's been a debate that women, primarily are attracted to Gay men. You always hear the excuse that "don't worry, they are safe because they are Gay". I don't have any issues with gender preference, just when a guy is very touchy-feely with their spouse.

I have alot of gay male friends. I'm "attracted" to them on a mental/emotional level. It's the same as with my female friends. Sure I've been physically attracted to gay men in the past but I'm not dumb enough to think I can change them. Sure I'm touchy-feely with my friends but it's in an affectionate way and very different from when I get "touchy-feely" with my husband.

Here's a more sympathetic theory than what I've seen posted so far: Two years of being single might seem like a long time to the conscious mind, but if the subconscious mind isn't ready for a relationship then it can steer you into dead ends to protect itself. Maybe you need to resolve some grief from the past. Is it comfortable for you to be a recluse, or does this seem out of character? If it's out of character, then that's another condition you can try to analyze. Or it could just be ordinary stress. Job-hunting and an uncomfortable living situation can stress people out so much they become reclusive and isolated, then go back to normal when things settle down. Good luck.

could it be that women like gay men because gay men are not always hitting on them??? perhaps women really get tired of fending off the passes made hourly by men they have zero interest in. It is sad that the only time a woman can be comfortable with a conversation is with another woman or a gay man...what does this say about straight men? Straight men perhaps, should take notice.

Women can think gay men are good looking or hot.
That's not to say they are primarily attracted to Gay men.
Don't agree with you on that one.
I think they are pretty safe if the man is gay.

Women can be attracted to a gay man. But the attraction can never amount to anything unless the attraction goes both ways. Which is unlikely to happen.. so i think there is no need to feel jealous

Its a safety thing. Plus sometimes it is nice to take a break from all that raging testosterone! Hanging out with a gay guy is like hanging out with your girlfriends.

That woman would have to have serious gay-dar shortage. Either that, or have serious beliefs in her ability to turn a guy straight.
But to answer your question, some straight girls fall for gay men, but only if they think he's straight. Usually, when they find out they're gay, they back off. Usually.
