When she gets home, I have to have a glass of wine ready for her, and give her neck and foot massages, and serve her dinner as well,
If I talk back to her, she locks me in the basement until I change my attitude, and if that doesn't do it, out comes the vvhip.

You need to leave that psycho. She needs help. Take her as* to therapy or to some kind of head doctor. It shouldn't be about who's the boss its a relationship it should be 50/50. You are a grown man and you're not anyones fuc*** puching bag, or a dam* rag doll. I'd call the police on her for spousal abuse. Don't be ashamed. PS. Always take photos when shes not around of the damage. I know you love her thats why you stay, but honey life would be so much better if you could enjoy it.

It's funny, I'm a female and I would usually tell the girl to get the hell out, but with a man, I can only say get the hell out of there, No One Owns you. A marriage is a 50/50 relationship, you my dear have a 2% yours 98% hers. Nope it's not right.

WOW ya'll have problems... If I were you I would leave then... Now it is nice to do things for your wife once in awhile like dinner and wine and a massage but not if she is going to lock you in the basement and whip you? I would leave.

Well, from the looks of it, if you want to show her who is boss, hold a mirror up in front of her.
What you should do is set up the basement. TV, kegerator, the whole works. Then, just keep getting sent to the basement, and you are set.

She comes home from work very tired and stressed. Do you have a job? I doubt the rest of your story. However, in a marriage, there should not be a boss but a partnership of two people who love and respect each other.

Seriously, if she is bossing you like that, she is the boss!
If you aren't happy speak up, or leave, otherwise it won't change, so make you peace with it.
As far as the basement thing, I assume you are exagerating, otherwise leave NOW!

Sounds like maybe she is the boss of you and only you can change that. But be prepared for the fallout, she may not gracefully accept an uprising. Just firmly (but gently) stand your ground and insist on equal treatment (massages,etc.) from her.

I don't know if you are serious or not but you couldn't be my husband would never go for no crap like that and I wouldn't go for no crap like that either. There is no boss marriage is a partnership. Are you a man or are you a mouse you better get some Balls!
