Im on the pill but I had a VERY short period last month..Im still taking my pill everyday but, Ive noticed that my breast are more tender than usual and Ive been more tired than usual as well. I have a 22 month old son already and when I was pregnant with him I slept most of the time. Im really worried that I could be pregnant. Its too early to tell bc I still have 1 week of pills left. What should I do? Please Help. Thanks!

i would go to the doctor before you continue taking your birth control. women can get pregnant on the pill, its not uncommon, in fact 3 of my friends did. one of them didnt know until she was like 4-5 months along because she was on it and never had any symptoms, then she had some stomach issues and had an ultrasound done....um there was a baby in there..shocking...anyway i wouldnt doubt the chance that you could be pregnant, the pill is not always that reliable. call your doctor....

if you're worried about taking the pills while you're pregnant, don't be. I was prescribed something to start my period and come to find out i was pregnant. The nurse said it's harmless. It's probably too early to tell with a at home test, so i would wait a week or more, but just take care of your self as if you are until you find out. Good luck

If you only have one week of pills left, you are probably experiencing Pre Menstrual Syndrome. (PMS) the week before her period, my wife has soreness and is tired all the time too. I know it can be quite nerve-racking during that last week, because your body is acting differently because of your hormones. Wait the week. If you don't start, and I mean not at all, not just a couple days, talk to your doctor or take a test.

i would go ahead and take your pills. i don't think one more week will do too much to harm the baby IF you ARE pregnant....and if you aren't the last thing you want to do is accidentally BECOME that way! my question is, how long have you been on these pills. birth control CAN shorten/lighten your period not to mention it can have side effects just like you are pregnant. that is in fact what it is trying to trick your body into thinking so you are less likely to ovulate. :) but, i would wait a week or call your doctor with your concerns. good luck

You could stop taking your pills? If you are not pregnant it will bring your cycle on quicker.

Some test now days are sensitive enought to catch pregnancy days before you miss your period.

Just wait. Why waste the money on a hpt if it's nothing. If you're late, take one.
