what do the colors mean on a aquarium strip thermometer, which color is the acurate temperature?

Usually only one or two colors are bright enough to read - the one that is closest to "green" is correct on most stick-on thermometers.

If you look closely there should be temp. degrees on it by the colors to let you know what they mean.
