So my 6 1/2 week old daughter, my boyfriend and I are moving into a 2 story apartment this weekend. I was thinking of buying a bottle warmer for her bedroom, that way I could keep bottles of water and a can of powdered formula in her room and not have to run downstairs in the middle of the night. My daughter wants instant gratification all the time, so right now we warm water in a tea kettle, but it still takes 3-4 minutes to get everything put together. Also, we're slowly switching her to vent-aire bottles, as paydays permit, because she's gassy a lot of the time. What bottle warmers are the quickest? Can I use them w/ Vent-aire? Do they make one that I can keep a bottle of water in until I'm ready to use it, then add the formula? Thanks!

She doesn't like room temp bottles, it upsets her stomach and makes her even gassier, so that option is out. Thanks though!

I used those same bottles when my daughter was a newborn. I also had a bottle warmer in the bedroom for late-night feedings (made it a heck of a lot easier and she didn't have to get too mad, so I know what you mean!!!). I'm going to give you a link to the bottle warmer I owned, you could actually go ahead and mix up the formula in the bottles, and there is a little cooler on the back to keep 2 bottles in. It comes with a little hard ice-pack, you just have to remember to toss it in the freezer every day you're going to use it. That way, everything is ready to go! And besides, if you are warming up room-temperature formula, a lot of times it may get too hot and then you have the problem of waiting for it to cool down! It works best to warm it up from a cold temperature, in my experience. And there's less work for you to do. Oh, and the Vent-Aire bottles work fine with warmers, but since they have that bottom piece, the steam will get into that crevice so you will want to keep a handtowel or something by the bottle warmer since a little water will come out when it's done warming up.

It is called Night & Day Bottle Warmer and is made by The First Years. You could do a search for it and find it available from other websites, or could probably even find it in a local store that carries such items. Hope this helped!

I do use a bottle warmer and most do take a few min to warm but if you are using powder just fix the water and sit it in the room and by the time your baby will want it the bottle will be room temp. all you will have to do is add the powder to it. i do see no reason why a vent air will not work

it should work with the vent air....just dont bother with it if youre using the bottles with the inserts....I picked up one from walmart that has a sleeve that wraps around the bottle so no water required. I believe it was the travel model but there should be an indoor model available. Or theres always a cup of hot water from the bathroom tap in a pinch.

i trust you. i purchased those bottles and in about 2 weeks each and each and every of the numbers rubbed off. yet I loved the layout to. So i have been starring at them attempting to make certain if I could throw them away and purchase yet another form or stick with them. one ingredient although is i purchased a million Vent-Aire bottle it really is crystal sparkling and that a million under no circumstances had the numbers rub off. in common words the others that are a lil cloudy looking gave me the topics.

I tried using one and it really didn't work for me. The one I had you had to keep the bottle on it until it was time to use it. It was either to hot or some of the water had evaporated. I suggest the microwave. Warm the water for like 15 - 20 seconds. Its a lot easier then the warmer and the teapot.

I havn't tried one, but what is convenient is feeding bottles at room temperature, just in case you are out somewhere, the baby is used that temperatue bottle.
