Do you think the Lions are making a wise choice in trading the #2 pick to Oakland for Randy Moss???

Apparently Matt Millen has agreed in principle to trade the Number 2 pick in this years draft to the Raiders for Randy Moss.. Do you think this is a good deal for the Lions?? Also, who do you think the Raiders will draft with their first 2 picks?? The experts say Ted Ginn and Troy Smith

This would not be a good move for the Lions. It would just be another mistake for Matt Millen. Randy Moss is over the hill. From 2003 to 2006 his receptions have declined from 111 to 42, his yards went from 1600+ to 553, and TDs dropped from 17 to 3. In my opinion Randy Moss no longer has any trade value and the Lions would be better off to just use their number 2 pick on a good QB. As for who the raiders would pick I say Jamarcus Russell and Ted Ginn.

Yeah. Randy Moss is way better than any person in this draft. The Raiders arent going to take Troy Smith. Troy Smith will be a second round pick at best. It's possible that they pick Ginn, but I think they will try to draft either Quinn or Russel and then Calvin Johson.

no where has there said that this trade has happened even if it did then the raiders would most likely take Jemarcus Russell and Calvin Johnson. (them being on a different level then Troy Smith and Ted Ginn, Jr.). No not a good trade for the Lions they do not need another WR

I have not heard this and I am a big Lions fan who follows the news, including the rumors. I actually heard that Bret Favre wants randy Moss. That Dam# Millen better not trade away #2!

i don't know if this rumor is true, but my honest opinion is that usually coaches and GMs do things for a good reason. Shanahan last year did ALOT of draft pick trade and ended up with 2 first rounders, several 2nd rounders, and numerous 3rd rounders. he traded a 1st round pick to the niners. he uses a 2nd round draft pick so he could move up to the 11th pick to get Jay Cutler. trades off another 2nd round pick for J. Walker. Shanahan at first i thought was crazy for doing all this tinkering, but it turned out very good for the broncos...

HOWEVER, the only GM i really think that has no master plan is Matt Millen. everyone knows about Matt Millen's love for wide receivers, i think he is doing this for the spur of the moment and trying to make himself look good by picking up a big name player. but honestly i don't think he has a good plan like Shanahan did last year.

Raiders first pick will probably be Russell OR Smith, but i really think Russell (from LSU) is going to be their guy.

Please say this isn't so......I live in Minnesota and it was the worst part of watching the Vikings and the media coverage about him and them.....I grew up a Lions fan and still am. I cannot believe Matt Millen still has his job. I just can't believe it. If he does this, I hope this is the final straw. I can't believe Marinelli wants to coach that idiot. And he is worse than Rogers or M. Williams. I think they blew it when they didn't let Williams play more.

That's news to me. Although, knowing Millen, I wouldn't be surprised if he did that. Just add it on to the long list of screw-ups he made in his tenure he.

I hadn't heard this rumor, and if it is true then Millen is far dumber than I thought. Lions need alot more than another malcontent WR (see charlie rogers and mike williams). they need to trade down and get bodies.
