2 * Pi * 384,000 km = (you do it)km
It takes nearly 28 days to turn around Earth (27.3)
(you did it)km / 27.3 = km each day
(Km each day) / 24 hours / 60 min in an hour / 60 seconds in a minute = speed

The answer is to find the circumference of the circular orbit of the moon and divide by the number of hours in 28 days.
the moon is about 250000 miles from the earth.
250000*2*pi/28/24=2340 miles per hour
